We provide companies access to space at Capitol Post located in Alexandria, Virginia a talented staff, a network of fellow entrepreneurs, impactful mentors, industry-benchmarked programming, and pathways to capital.

You can participate in facilitated lean startup and design thinking sessions, one-on-one mentorship, founder-led roundtables, networking events, and a speaker series designed around your working needs and current challenges.

You’ll also be able to showcase your company as a part of our network, contribute content to our newsfeed, add events to our online calendar, and leverage our media outreach efforts to promote your company.

Critical to the Bunker’s success is high-impact mentors. We’re always on the hunt for the best startup founders and industry experts, willing to dedicate time to mentor our veteran-owned companies. These relationships are critical to a startup’s ability to sustain and scale. Key to acceleration is the ability for our founders to tap into the right experience, expand reach, identify new customers, and apply shared lessons learned.

Our memberships are $250/year for veterans and military spouses and are free for Active Duty service members and their families. We look forward to meeting you!

Our Leadership

Emily McMahan
Emily McMahan
Emily McMahan launched Bunker Labs DC and is the Director of Capitol Post. Prior to creating Capitol Post, Emily served as a partner and Chief Financial Officer at Halfaker and Associates, LLC; a successful start-up technology firm serving the federal government. As CFO, Emily was responsible for all company’s financial operations, including corporate accounting, financial strategy, and business planning.

After graduation from West Point, Emily was commissioned as a military police officer, and her military experience includes combat deployments supporting Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and Noble Eagle. Emily holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

She’s an active member of the local community and has lived in the area for eight years with her husband, two sons, and daughter.

Seda Goff
Seda Goff joined Bunker Labs in January of 2017. Prior to that, through Seda’s company Lighthouse Global Business, she worked with Bunker Labs companies as a consultant teaching lean startup and helping start founders map out their business ecosystem.

Seda founded Lighthouse Global Business to guide international entrepreneurs and US-based start-ups looking to build or expand their businesses. She used her experiences gained at the Washington Redskins, Department of Veteran Affairs, National Restaurant Association, Edison Electric Institute and Ideaxis to help businesses with a variety of services. She assisted business operations, located product-market fit and messaging, but most importantly grew businesses.

Seda is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and holds an MBA from American University in Washington D.C. where she resides with her husband, daughter and little white dog named Toby.
