HELI-Lab

The HELI-Lab, Hacking Entrepreneurship and Lean Innovation, is Bunker Labs Austin’s premier program for iterative business model development and continuous effort to identify product-market fit. Organized as an ongoing, interactive group “laboratory” with mentor accountability measures, participants learn to apply lean startup principles to business model generation, establish best practices and take action to build evidence-based validation through customer discovery efforts and can creatively explore product development or “pivot space”.

EPIC
The Entrepreneurial Program for Innovation & Collaboration is designed to introduce new entrepreneurs and current business owners to a world of inspiration, education and collaboration that challenges you to experiment, simulate and accelerate your project.
• Experiment with different products and services, prospective buyers, endorsers, and partners.
• Simulate selling your products and services to real buyers, generate interest at networking events and conferences, opportunities for brainstorming and collaboration.
• Accelerate your business through facilitated introductions to prospective customers, clients, investors, mentors, board members, employees, vendors, interns and more.
• During this course we will introduce and develop 14 Entrepreneurial Competence Building Measures (ECBM’s) that will help drive success in business.

Johnathan Paul Wojtewicz, a native of Austin, joined the Marine Corps after 9/11. Following his service career, he entered the startup world and has become a successful entrepreneur, having led two technology startups from conception to acquisition to a Fortune 200 company. Johnathan completed the University of Texas Technology Commercialization Program, NOV Ventures, and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s PLD program, the HBS alternative to Executive MBA. He’s now an advisor leading entrepreneurs and an early investor in market defining startups and additionally, a co-founder of Bunker Labs Austin and throughout Texas, supporting military veterans launch and accelerate businesses.

Sabrina Marshall-Wojtewicz is a digital marketing and communications professional with a passion for entrepreneurship, innovation and personal, professional and leadership development. Her interest and enthusiasm in these areas coupled with the desire to empower others and give back to her community led her to found and organize a local women’s networking group from 2006-2010. She has served on the Board of the Lakeway/Lake Travis Rotary Club and has most recently joined Bunker Labs Austin team where she will continue contributing her time and talent towards an innovative startup community of military veterans as they launch and accelerate businesses.

Joseph Kopser is the CEO and Co-Founder of RideScout. RideScout is an Austin, Texas-based technology company that enables seamless multimodal experiences and connected transit commerce to app users worldwide. The company is part of moovel Group GmbH, a subsidiary of Daimler AG, the maker of Mercedes-Benz. In 2015, RideScout acquired GlobeSherpa, a market leader in mobile ticketing for public transit.

Prior to RideScout, Joseph served in the U.S. Army for 20 years earning the Combat Action Badge, Army Ranger Tab and Bronze Star. Joseph is a graduate of West Point with a BS in Aerospace Engineering and also received a Masters from the Harvard Kennedy School in 2002. In his free time, he works closely with Bunker Labs Austin. He lives in Austin with his wife and three daughters.

Max Green is an engineer with a passion for translating early stage science and technology innovations into commercial products / services. He has led development efforts for more than 500 scientific innovations, yielding more than 50 intellectual property licenses and the formation of 10 technology startups at UT Austin. His background in science, engineering, and business have allowed him to be uncommonly effective in opportunity analysis, developing product launch strategy, cultivating strategic partnerships, building investor relations, and negotiating complex agreements. He has most recently been volunteering his time and talent to help Bunker Labs Austin develop new innovation programming.
James 'Jim' Rabuck

Jim is an experienced Army Infantry Officer with a successful and proven track record in nominative positions within Operational Command structures as a Corps level asset. After leaving Active Duty Service as a Captain, Jim has focused his experience succeeding in complex, dynamic and risk adverse environments into innovative logistic solutions in travel technology. He is the Founder and CEO of REKi, a mobile app platform that integrates cognitive learning technology to create a personalized travel queue based ones interaction with their Social Network Platforms. While transitioning through the Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship Program at Ft. Hood, Jim is a Fellow at Bunker Labs Austin where he is implementing new ideas and building out his network.
