Alice’s COVID-19 Business Resource Center and $10k Emergency Grants

Business for All, a partnership with the National Chamber of Commerce and with the support of Verizon, Silicon Valley Bank and eBay Foundation to support small business owners, has built the COVID-19 Business Resource Center that is now offering $10,000 emergency grants through a fund for small business owners affected by this pandemic. Businesses that need relief are encouraged to complete the COVID-19 Business for All Emergency Grant application.

Chase Paycheck Protection Program Loan (PPPL) Information

As part of the Cares Act and guidance from the SBA, Chase will be offering the Paycheck Protection Program Loan (PPPL) for small businesses. As such, we want to share this information with the veteran community to ensure they have the opportunity to take part.  This loan will be available to Chase clients starting Friday morning (please see eligibility and other banks will be offering similar programs).

DOL outlines small-business exemption from coronavirus paid leave law (HR Dive)

SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loans offer up to $2 million in assistance for a small business. These loans can provide vital economic support to small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing.

SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan Worksheets

New federal legislation and appropriations has opened up the possibility for small businesses to receive assistance for economic loss due to COVID-19.  Details of eligibility and administration of this assistance from SBA are still being addressed by the SBA. However, some information from the traditional SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program will still apply for COVID-19.
